Join us for our annual Kiddie Parade on Friday afternoon! Featuring fun categories such as smallest pet and best-dressed Swiss Boy & Girl, this parade is a must-see for kids. Past floats have included Radio Flyer wagons converted to airplanes and stage coaches turned into Power Wheels with cheese tires!
Bring the family down to Main Street to see all of the colorful, creative floats, marching bands, fancy cars, and Festival Royalty from across Ohio. Make sure you have a bag handy to fill with candy and goodies tossed out during the parade!
Stop by the Fire Station to sample local award-winning wine and cheese from Noon. - 9: p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Find a favorite and take it home -- our staff is glad to wrap up items to-go.
Join us at the Craft Beer Tent Friday and Saturday evening of this year's festival from 3pm-9:30pm to sample beers from local breweries. The Craft Beer Tent will be located in the parking lot in front of The Brick Wall Sculpture on the corner of Main Street and Broadway. Live music will be on the Main Street Stage; sample fantastic local beer and enjoy great live music!
Tasting tickets will be sold at the entrance, cash only please.

Experience the beauty of Sugarcreek on foot in one of our races on Saturday. The 5K run/walk course takes participants through the village, while the 10K brings runners through the village and into the gorgeous Amish countryside. The Steinstossen is a popular Swiss sport that is rarely seen in America. Competitors throw a stone with the goal of achieving the greatest distance. In the competition men throw a stone weighing 138 pounds and women throw a 75 pound stone. Participants have a total of five throws that they can complete throughout the festival weekend with their best being the submitted throw. The Steinstossen is a thrilling sport that tests both strength and endurance of the competitiors. Whether you plan to enter of just want to spectate the Steinstossen is a festival event you don't want to miss.
Come see our young hopefuls pedal their way to victory in the Kiddie Tractor Pull. Children in the Garaway School District participate in this pedal-powered version of a tractor pull. In the case of rain or inclement weather, the race will be cancelled for safety purposes.
Elementary-age children compete in this exciting race, where participants race to see who can complete the course the fastest. Competitors are separated into heats and winners earn bragging rights as the fastest wheels in town! Registration for this event begins at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Main Stage.
